Slumdog Millionaire is nothing but a advanced mediocre version of those commercial films about seperated brothers and childhood sweethearts that Salim-Javed used to write in the 1970's.
This movie is over valued and is given excess importance.
International viewers loved this movie because it has so much of slum areas of India in it. Also they think that this is the real india. They consider india is a very poor country. Western film makers adopt the themes of poverty and unemployment in their movies in a very wrong manner so that at the international level when the movie is released the other people who don't know about our country get a wrong image of India, which is not affordable.
This movie has received Golden Global Awards and I think that is the total ignorance of our film industry.
